Review
the plot of the story is that an infection has spread and we come to start of the story 2 months after the infection strain of mad cow disease, which then spread all across of America making citizens into mad vicious zombies that crave the living and cannot be stopped by any force other than destroying the brain with whatever you have at your disposal.
The film is a horror comedy and is amazing to any zombie fan as it has gore violence and zombie decapitation and it is my almost favourite film of my life so far, the main protagonist colombus played by Jessie is a thin white male who is afraid and shows weakness, he then partners with Tallahessee who is played by Woody and he is a strong figure with a story about his son which to stay (strong) he says it’s his puppy so the others won’t see him as emotional at the time, they then go to a local supermarket where they meet Whichita and little rock played by Emma and Abigial which at first site they take Colombus and Tallahessee car keys and guns and are left alone to survive and figure out what to do chase after a girl he likes and put his life on the line or say goodbye and survive as they are.
The film is conventional and sticks to 1h 28 minute time which most films are and about these days, there are a few scenes where the film feels drawn out and used to fill space like when they are looking for a house to stay in and I found that if you get bored easily you can feel drifted away and lose what’s happening in the story, and for some parts of the film it was unclear how long they took to get to places or how many days they had been searching,
The film’s director Ruben Fleischer done an amazing job and in my opinion it is one of the best zombie films to this day it has replay ability and keeps true to what we know about the zombie/horror genre.
